Linekin Bay Wedding: Jen and Colin

Longtime love finally being made into a marriage is always a beautiful thing to witness, but I have to say that the tears that Jen shed throughout the day were a reminder of her presence and her gratefulness to be here now. The time we spent with them at sunset was truly fun. We didn’t have to pose them hardly at all because they just scampered about laughing and snuggling. What more could a photographer ask for? Kind people? Check. Fun dancing? Check. Beautiful setting? Check. Well… I’m happy.

French’s Point Wedding: Andrea and Brandon

Andrea and Brandons wedding was one of the few “big” weddings we were able to photograph during the 2020 Pandemic. It was near the end of the year and all the guests were tested prior to arrival. Masks were prevalent, of course, and other than that, it was a relatively “normal” wedding day as far as pre-covid times felt. That being said, there was nothing “normal” about these two in terms of being so so kind and so so in love and so so fun to photograph! I miss Andrea and Brandon often and wish they lived here so we could be friends!

After a sweet first look, we went down to the nearby water for a few wedding portraits before the ceremony, since the sun was setting right afterwards! Those late fall timelines are always a challenge but so worth it. After the sweet ceremony, we went inside for the reception. I remember loving the fact that we got to be on a dance floor again, as foreign as it felt, it also felt so so good.

I’ll never forget this wedding because the next day Andrea texted and asked if we left a light behind. We did. So we met up with them at a local brewery and hung out. Thanks for sharing a couple hours of your honeymoon with us Andrea and Brandon!

Bristol Maine Wedding: Grace and Maxtin

I love how Maine has so many special places that are so easy to miss. Any turn off the main road on Maine peninsulas can lead you to a wonderland of beauty that just hangs out waiting for you. Grace and Maxtin have a family property on one of those turns and we were honored to visit.

Like most of our wedding this year, they had to change a lot of original plans for their day. In our opinion though, it was still a win since the location holds such a special place in their hearts.

One of my favorite parts of the day was when Grace hit a hunger wall and munched on lobster in her wedding dress while she sat in the grass.

Pemaquid Point Lighthouse Wedding: Colleen and Mark

Like almost all our weddings of this year, Colleen and Mark had to change their plans for a big wedding (New Year’s Eve in New Orleans!). Instead of that, they went to the courthouse in DC and got married. Later, they planned a mini ceremony here in Maine with Colleen’s mom, a few seagulls, and us. This ceremony location was such a “pinch-me moment” for me as a photographer because we got to go up to the top of the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse for it! Afterward, though, Mark let us all know he was petrified almost the whole time since he’s afraid of heights. Whoops!

Sorrento Maine Wedding: Gabe and Jamie

A wedding in 2020 is always a little different than planned but that didn’t matter to Gabe and Jamie. They just made the needed changes and forged ahead. In the end, they had a ceremony oceanside, with beloved guests including their dogs, and then they had pizza delivered. I mean… how is that at all a downgrade? Pizza delivery at a wedding has always been on my wedding bucket list and Gabe and Jamie… delivered. 😉

Also… how STUNNING is Sorrento? We loved being there and even looked up a few places on zillow while we were there because its just so lovely.
