Who doesn’t love a New Years Eve wedding? I mean honestly. The holiday is one of my favorites just because a adore New Years Day. This time instead of ringing in the New Year in our pajamas with champagne pours in the wrong kind of glass, we got to spend the holiday with Riley and Will in fine style. One challenge of the day was that our coverage time started AFTER the sun went down, so we didn’t have our usual portrait lighting that we like, but that being said, the setting inside the Fairmont Copley makes for gorgeous portraits day or night. We also convinced them to go outside for 5 minutes in the very cold FIVE-degree weather. The wind chill had us at -10 so I have to take my hat off to them for braving that cold.
The ceremony was stunning, officiated by Riley’s brother. After they became officially official, they played Dropkick Murphy’s as their recessional. Perfect for setting the tone for the rest of the night dontcha think? It was party time. DJ Jon is one of our absolute favorite DJ’s, which we learned about on this very night. It was such a fun party that Riley had to change into a party dress so she could dance as wild as she needed to. Before we knew it… it was 10…9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1… HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! What a way to end 2017. <3
